* Portfolio Governance: Establish and maintain governance frameworks to ensure all projects are aligned with enterprise strategy, architecture standards, and financial priorities. * Value Stream Management: Align initiatives to defined value streams and track measurable outcomes through well-defined KPIs and OKRs, ensuring benefits are realized across business and technology domains * Strategic Alignment: Assess and prioritize project proposals to ensure investments deliver measurable business value and support strategic goals, digital transformation efforts, and core business imperatives. * Ad Hoc Management of Strategic Projects: Lead or support the execution and oversight of high-priority, strategic projects assigned by executive leadership, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes. * Governance Execution: Oversee end-to-end governance activities – from intake to closure- ensuring adherence to defined processes, timely reviews. And compliance with enterprise standards and approval gates * Delivery Performance Monitoring: Track and report on portfolio performance using KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards to monitor progress, benefit realization, and overall portfolio health. * Financial Oversight: Collaborate with Finance to manage budgets, forecast expenditures, and optimize resource allocation across business units and delivery streams. * Risk and Dependency Management: Identify and manage cross-project dependencies, risks, and constraints to enable smooth and timely delivery. * Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business, technology, and governance teams to ensure transparency, alignment, and proactive communication throughout the delivery lifecycle. * Portfolio Reporting: Consolidate and present portfolio insights to senior leadership and steering committees to support informed decision-making and delivery assurance. * Continuous Improvement: Drive enhancements in portfolio management processes, tools, and methodologies to improve delivery efficiency and effectiveness. * PMO Governance Participation: Support PMO governance activities including demand management, and business case reviews to ensure delivery discipline and compliance. Innovation Enablement: Contribute to the identification, evaluation, and analysis of innovative ideas and emerging technologies for potential enterprise adoption. Experience and Qualification * Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Finance, or related field (master’s degree or MBA preferred). * Total experience of 15+ years * Relevant experience in the Banking industry * Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Agile, SAFe, PRINCE2, or PMI-PfMP are highly desirable. * Certification or formal training in Portfolio Management, Agile Delivery, or Enterprise Architecture is an advantage. * Experience in managing a team size of 1-3 people Skills * Skilled in stakeholder management, communication, and presentation at executive levels. * Ability to balance strategic oversight with operational detail. * Proactive problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making abilities. * Familiarity with agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery models. * High degree of organization, adaptability, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent understanding of project and portfolio management tools (e.g., Clarity PPM, MS Project, Power BI, or similar). * Strong analytical, financial modelling, and reporting skills to support data-driven decisions. * Should have effective communication, decision-making, and modelling and analytical skills * Strong thought-leadership and people leadership skills with a service delivery and entrepreneurial mindset Adept at Problem-solving, consensus building, solution realization across various stakeholders  About Us: First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is the largest bank in the UAE and one of the world's largest and safest financial institutions.
