Rebuilding Together Greater Florida “RTGFL”(formerly Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay) is a nonprofit organization with a mission to repair homes, revitalize communities, and rebuild lives. We serve 21 counties across Florida, providing affordable housing, home rehabilitation, and disaster recovery support to low-income families, seniors, and veterans.

POSITION SUMMARY – CENTRAL WEST DISTRICT

We are currently seeking a detail oriented and mission driven Program Manager with construction knowledge to join our team in the Central West District. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the success, growth, and compliance of RTGFL’s housing and community based programs.
The Program Manager will oversee program operations within the Central East region and collaborate across departments including construction to ensure services are delivered efficiently, within scope, and in compliance with grant and contract requirements. A strong understanding of construction principles, scopes of work, and project timelines is essential for effectively managing and coordinating with construction staff and subcontractors. Reporting to the Regional Program Manager and VP of Operations.

Responsibilities

Partnership and Resource Development

  • Develop guidelines, standards, and procedures for Safe and Healthy Homes programs.
  • Establish and maintain accurate client tracking and ensure programmatic standards are met.
  • Build relationships with nonprofit organizations, community funders, committees, coalitions, and others to enhance program visibility, referrals, and potential funding opportunities.
  • Cultivate outreach strategies to increase client referrals and applications.
  • Foster relationships with clients to provide ongoing support.

Strategic Operational Planning:

  • Attend stakeholder meetings related to Safe and Healthy Homes programs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of program needs and progress.
  • Prepare compliance reports, including audits and grant meetings.
  • Compile annual reports with metrics, outcomes, impact, and performance.

Management and Supervision:

  • Collaborate with the Regional Operations District Supervisor and VP of Development to pursue new opportunities.
  • Assist in client identification and intake processes.
  • Coordinate client services and oversee grant and contract compliance.
  • Work with the Construction Program Coordinator to manage project scopes of work and implementation.
  • Assist in home assessments and onboard subcontractors and volunteers.
  • Maintain subcontractor agreements and relevant documentation.
  • Document, communicate, and uphold departmental policies and best practices.
  • Manage client records using Salesforce or paper-based systems when necessary.
  • Support client education and ensure their needs are addressed promptly.

    • Provide oversight of outcomes within the Safe and Healthy Homes programs.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and accountability assessments related to program effectiveness.

Outreach and Advancement:

  • Support the identification and development of strategic partnerships.
  • Analyze key metrics to identify trends and program needs.
  • Promote RTTB initiatives to new audiences, partners, and supporters.
  • Assist in creating marketing content as needed.
  • Uphold the RTTB brand and mission stewardship.
