HOW YOU’LL ADVANCE OUR MISSION | POSITION OVERVIEW The Program Manager provides strategic, programmatic, and administrative support to the Charlotte Executive Leadership Council (CELC). The Program Manager leads, coordinates, and implements projects, events, and initiatives that advance collective impact across CELC and economic mobility in the community. The role requires strong project management, calendar management, communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills to ensure alignment with CELC’s broader goals and priorities. YOUR UNIQUE IMPACT | ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and operationalize three CELC Working Teams, including agenda planning, meeting coordination, membership lists, meeting attendance, speaker engagement, follow-up, and documentation. Track and maintain Working Team impact metrics and information. Provide administrative and calendar management support to CELC leadership. Support meeting and event management for CELC initiatives, both in-person and virtual. Coordinate structure, engagement, and support for Working Teams and corporate partners. Maintain and update the CELC website. Support and maintain CELC’s key data tracking systems and dashboards Lead production of Working Team End-of-Year report. Lead production and distribution of Community Opportunities newsletter. Maintain organized systems for recordkeeping, filing, and project documentation. Prepare and edit internal and external communications, including letters, memos, presentations, and reports. Facilitate collaboration across corporate, civic, and nonprofit partners to align CELC priorities with actionable outcomes. Demonstrate exceptional relationship management and professional communication with stakeholders. Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance Working Team efficiency and impact. Requirements WHAT YOU’LL NEED FOR SUCCESS: QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree or 1-3 years administrative or similarly detailed-based work experience Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, & PowerPoint Knowledge of and experience with SquareSpace a plus Strong project management and organizational skills Background in or strong interest in data analytics Responsive, service-oriented workstyle Strong organizational & scheduling skills Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and maintain deadlines Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills with clients, employees, management and contractors
