2nd Chance at Heart for Kids are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to oversee operations within our Children’s Group Home. The ideal candidate is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, staffing, compliance, and quality of care provided in a children’s group home. This role ensures that all residents receive safe, nurturing, and therapeutic support while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & WORK HABIT REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience working with children in residential, foster care, or behavioral health settings.
• At least 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, child welfare systems, and licensing regulations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and crisis management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• A genuine passion for supporting the growth and development of children and youth.
• High level of practical verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite software.
• Proficient in operating essential office equipment such as copy machines, facsimiles, and computers.
• CPR/First Aid certified (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license and clear background check.
