Job Title: Project/Program Manager
Location: San Jose, CA 95125 (Remote • PST timezone)
Duration: 12 months
Contract Type: W2 only
Pay Rate: $54.63/Hour

The role

  • Client is looking for a manager of operations to work within Client’s global marketing organization as a dedicated resource supporting the global consumer insights organization. Quickly learn Client’s business best practices as you work with client’s global consumer insights, marketing operations, and business stakeholders to enable and execute operational plans.
  • You will work hand-in-hand with global consumer insights, marketing, business units, finance, legal, procurement, and risk management teams.
  • In this role you will be responsible for the management and oversight of workflows to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance for budget management, supplier contracts, and purchase orders.
  • With great communication and a clear understanding of GCI’s goals, this role will remove obstacles, find solutions and be pivotal to the success of the team.

Key responsibilities and requirements include:

  • Manage end-to-end process of contract submissions, from aligning with internal business owners and external suppliers, to executing contracts via Client’s systems
  • Maintain budget tracker and follow up with project owners on a regular basis to ensure contracts and POs are processed in a timely manner and accruals are accurate
  • Work closely with finance, legal and procurement on contracts to ensure compliance and legal best practices are followed
  • Oversee onboarding of new suppliers
  • Run weekly/monthly/quarterly budget planning meetings with internal teams
  • Support on regular review with 6+ key strategic suppliers within GCI

Qualifications:

  • Shown success in a fast-paced, matrixed work environment, as well as the ability to thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving, and highly competitive industry
  • Extraordinary interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in large and small settings
  • Demonstrated project management experience; strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to plan and prioritize
  • Ability to build relationships, collaborate and influence across all levels, functions, geographies - internal and external
  • Agency account management experience is a plus
  • Must be located in the pacific time zone.
