JOB SUMMARY:

As such, we are searching for the right candidate who will directly support the organization’s Plans Program and Integration Director by providing a range of high-level project support services including providing strategic subject matter expertise, managing communications, and implementing strategies to support the achievement of the organization’s strategic and operational objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification with a strong understanding of DIMAC, Lean, Scrum and Kaizen methodologies
  • Five (5) years of applicable experience
  • active Sec+ certification

Location: JBSA-Lackland, TX
Job Type: 40 hours per week Mon - Fri
Travel: Up to 10% travel is anticipated

Responsibilities

  • Prepares, manages, and reviews the provision of high-level communications and correspondence
  • Be prepared to develop briefings, reports, and other documents accurately and timely
  • Coordinates communications and proactively ensures responses meet deadlines
  • Informs decision making and supports achievement of organizational objectives
  • Performs, analysis and collects routine data entries in multiple systems identified by the customer. Such as dashboards like Power BI, Tableau and Excel
  • Takes corrective action as necessary based on standard guidelines or regulations
  • Creates basic documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power BI, VISO, and Power Point
  • Attends working group meetings and verbally discusses the status of assigned activities
  • Administrative Duties
  • Performs other related duties as assigned within the contract scope
  • Train and mentor team members and other employees in Lean Six Sigma principles, practices, and tools, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization
  • Lead improvement projects that focus on improving efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing quality. They are responsible for defining project goals, scope, and timelines
  • Utilize advanced statistical and analytical tools to collect, analyze, and interpret data. This helps identify root causes of problems and measure the effectiveness of changes made
  • Provide updates and reports on project progress to stakeholders and senior management, highlighting successes and areas for further improvement
  • Help manage the change process within the organization by ensuring that new processes are adopted and sustained and that employees are engaged in improvement efforts
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies, including DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), to drive process improvement initiatives
