Role Purpose As a Program Manager – Data Centre Operations, you will act as the operational and compliance lead, responsible for building, managing, and continuously improving a centralised governance function. This function provides a single, real-time view of operational, financial, and compliance performance across the service. You will oversee SLA compliance, incentive/credit tracking, billing and invoicing accuracy, PO funding governance, financial risk indicators, hiring performance, workforce forecasting, and end-to-end control processes. Your work ensures all obligations are met, enabling data-driven decisions, reducing operational risk, and strengthening client confidence and executive reporting. Key Responsibilities Operational Performance & SLA Governance: Develop and maintain a consolidated dashboard of SLA and KPI performance. Track breaches, credit exposure, and financial impacts. Partner with Service Delivery Leads for root-cause analysis and continuous improvement. Financial Compliance & Control: Oversee billing and invoicing accuracy, PO funding, burn rates, accruals, and budget utilisation. Monitor financial risk indicators and ensure alignment between commercial, finance, and operational teams. Resource & Workforce Governance: Lead resource forecasting, track recruitment performance, and ensure onboarding compliance. Coordinate with HR and Workforce Planning on staffing strategies. Operational Purchases, Expenses & Cost Controls: Govern operational expenses, equipment purchases, and logistics costs. Track expenses against budgets and ensure compliance with procurement policies. Client Engagement & Program Visibility: Track client engagements, prepare executive-ready reports, and ensure transparency of commitments and milestones. Control Tower Development & Leadership: Design and implement the Operational & Compliance Control Tower framework. Lead a team responsible for analytics, governance, and compliance. Drive automation and dashboarding for improved insights. Skills & Experience Required 3+ years in Operations, Service Delivery, Program Governance, PMO, or Commercial Management. Proven experience in governance frameworks or control tower functions. Strong understanding of SLAs, financial governance, and operational metrics. Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and BI tools. Excellent stakeholder engagement and organisational skills. Exceptional attention to detail and compliance. Preferred: Experience in fast-moving operations, managed services, or large-scale tech environments. Familiarity with contract governance, incentive models, and SLA frameworks. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies. Key Attributes Highly structured and disciplined. Strong commercial and financial acumen.
