Description
About Goodman At Goodman, your career is more than just a job – it’s about growth, innovation, and making a lasting impact. Whether you’re building your career in property, data centres, finance, legal, or beyond, we value diverse perspectives and seek individuals who are passionate about driving our business forward. As providers of essential infrastructure for the digital economy, Goodman has been developing its data centre capability since 2005. Since then, we have grown to become a large owner of powered sites globally. Our global power bank of 5.0GW includes completed facilities, secured power and potential data centre projects across 13 major international cities. This has been built up over time through our expertise in securing land, planning and power in highly sought after locations in major global cities. Program Manager - Data Centres The Program Manager - Data Centres will own the end-to-end coordination and continuous improvement of technical delivery programs across Goodman's data centre portfolio. Reporting to the GM Data Centre Delivery, you'll drive program execution across development, delivery, operations and technology, managing complex dependencies, mitigating risk and ensuring technical readiness from design through to commissioning, handover and steady-state operations. This is a technically demanding role in a mission-critical environment. You'll need to understand how power, cooling, controls, networking and monitoring systems come together and how to keep multi-disciplinary programs moving. Day-to-day Technical Delivery Program Management Lead the planning, execution and governance of cross-functional delivery programs for new-build and upgraded data centre capacity across the portfolio. Own delivery roadmaps, stage gates, milestone schedules and KPI frameworks — ensuring technical delivery and handover activities meet programme objectives. Drive program-level governance including risk registers, issue logs, decision logs and reporting packs aligned to executive and stakeholder requirements. Delivery Improvement & Technical Excellence Lead the identification and implementation of improvements to technical delivery workflows, tools and processes across implementation, commissioning, readiness and handover. Develop and own delivery playbooks, standard operating procedures, technical documentation and training materials that embed consistency and reduce execution risk. Drive delivery improvement initiatives end-to-end — from requirements gathering through to implementation and performance measurement. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Act as the primary coordination point between engineering, construction, controls, operations and business stakeholders — driving timely decisions, issue resolution and delivery readiness. Own the customer readiness plan across commissioning, early access, handover and RFS stages — including all supporting documentation and acceptance criteria. Deliver clear, concise program reporting on progress, risks, critical path, dependencies and outcomes to senior leadership and project stakeholders. Risk, Readiness & Compliance Own dependency mapping and management across design, procurement, equipment readiness, controls integration, vendor delivery and operational readiness — driving early identification and escalation of critical risks. Define and track program success metrics aligned to delivery milestones, technical readiness gates and handover acceptance criteria. Ensure compliance, safety and delivery readiness requirements are embedded in program execution — maintaining records, permits, action plans and implementation tracking in line with project, operational and industry standards. Cross-Functional Leadership Establish and chair collaboration forums across design, delivery, critical environment and operations teams — setting cadence, agenda and accountability. Drive clear, consistent and timely communication of program status, blockers and actions across all workstreams. Embed a culture of continuous improvement, real-time feedback and technical rigour across the delivery program. Skills required Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or related), Construction Management or Project Management. 5–8+ years in program management, project delivery or technical coordination, with direct experience in data centres, critical infrastructure or mission-critical environments. Sound understanding of data centre infrastructure systems; power distribution, mechanical cooling, BMS/EPMS controls, networking, monitoring and IT hardware and how these integrate through design, construction, commissioning and handover. Proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary dependencies across concurrent workstreams and maintain program-level visibility of critical path. Strong command of Power BI, Excel and Word for program reporting and data analysis. Hands-on experience with Procore for project execution and delivery management. Applied experience with Lean, Six Sigma or operational excellence methodologies in a delivery or engineering context. Demonstrated stakeholder management capability, confident operating across engineering, construction, operations, vendor and executive audiences. Sharp analytical skills able to interpret technical, commercial and operational data, identify systemic issues and drive practical solutions. High attention to detail with the discipline to manage multiple concurrent programs, timelines and escalation paths. Comfortable operating in structured environments with governance, compliance, safety and reliability requirements. The Benefits At Goodman we know that our people are integral to our company success.
