Decision Technologies seeks a qualified Program Manager to join our team in Arlington, VA.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Program Manager will lead and manage a Navy engineering services contract focused on Navy weapon systems, combat system integration, cybersecurity, and weapon system acquisition. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, extensive experience with Navy contracts and acquisition, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects.
This is an on-site position at the Government’s facility in Arlington, VA. Decision Technologies is fully supportive of hybrid work arrangements, upon authorization from the Government.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant engineering or management experience
  • Experience with Navy weapon systems and Naval engineering services.
  • Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes and regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage large, complex programs with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain a Secret security clearance.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 15 years’ experience in Program Management, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and working with international coalition partners.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10% travel to various Navy concentration areas.
  • Occasional local travel to National Capital Region Navy facilities.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of the program, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain program schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and acquisition, to ensure timely and efficient program execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, providing regular updates on program status, risks, and issues.
  • Manage multiple subcontractors and adhere to teaming agreement and subcontract agreements, coordinating with the corporate Contracts and Finance staff.
  • Report to the Vice President of Programs on execution status, contract milestones, staffing, financial metrics, and overall program health.
  • Implement and monitor program performance metrics to ensure objectives are met.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, developing contingency plans as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
