We are seeking a highly motivated Program Manager (PM) to serve as Immersion’s primary point of contact for the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO). This individual will be responsible for the overall management, coordination, and execution of DTMO’s Travel Assistance Center (TAC) and fulfilling all contract requirements. The PM will work directly with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and DTMO PM to oversee operations, resolve issues, and implement strategic improvements.

As a Project Manager you will bring considerable technical expertise to deliver effective solutions to clients.

  • Manage day to day interactions with executive clients.
  • Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology, process, and creative business solutions for large organizations.
  • Responsibilities include, among others, managing teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures.
  • Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; lead aspects of the proposal development process; development of proposal pricing strategies.

Requirements:

  • Act as the primary liaison between Immersion and Government Personnel.
  • Oversee all aspects of TAC operations, including staffing, training, quality assurance, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement a Project Management Plan (PMP), Quality Management Plan (QMP), and Concept of Operations (CONOPS).
  • Ensure all TAC services meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor performance metrics.
  • Coordinate and participate in conferences, quarterly reviews, and “hot wash” meetings.
  • Manage risk, resolve escalated issues, and ensure timely communication with Government stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of PM experience overseeing government contracts, preferably within DoD or federal travel systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Experience may substitute education requirements.
  • Familiarity with DoD travel systems, policies, and regulations
  • Ability to manage high-volume, multi-tiered customer service operations
  • Knowledge of Defense Travel System (DTS), TraX, Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) programs, and DoD Travel Policies.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
