This position will serve as Educator and people leader with direct reports, supporting the Central Staffing Office at BJC. Primary focus will be staff education, onboarding, skills days, boot camps and staff leadership.
Position located at BJC Commons.

Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE

Provides effective leadership of the overall management of a clinical program, including day to day office operations, work redesign, budget and human resource management of nursing and clerical staff. Also responsible for strategic planning, program design/implementation, marketing and finance. May also oversee managed care contracts and informatics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
  • Directs operations and integrates services within the work unit and with other departments.
  • Collaborates with health care team members to provide patient care. Ensures team compliance with departmental policies, regulatory requirements and professional standards; keeps policies and procedures up-to-date and participates in revisions as needed.
  • Ensures patients and families receive education throughout continuum of care.
  • Monitors care to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Manages the health care of a specific population of patients.
