The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the daily operations of our School Enrichment Services programs for students at multiple locations. This person will encourage, empower, trust, inspire, teach, have confidence in and value each member of our team. They must have a strategic mindset as well as be able to lead and develop their subordinates.With the goal of creating a team that thrives on feedback, the Program Manager is reflective and aspires to offer the best quality care for our children and families.
This person makes decisions based on sound developmental knowledge and continues learning best practices of the early childhood field. The Program Manager is responsible for creating a safe, positive, nurturing and engaging environment.This person is responsible for ongoing communication with families, school leadership, and organization management.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization
  • Plan the programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes
  • Maintain and nurture the culture described in the position overview.
  • Establish school wide open communication. Consult with leadership regarding daily schedule, program planning, individual children and parent needs.
  • Communicate and plan with the Director on a regular basis, keeping them informed of all activity within the school relating to general business, children, faculty and parents.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily attendance and enrollment and communicates information to all staff.
  • Meet weekly with the Management team to coordinate staffing, enrollment changes and activities planning.
  • Ensure and maintain proper instructor/teacher-to-student ratios.
  • Ensure a clean, tidy and organized appearance throughout the day.
  • Manage regular onsite presence at the schools and oversee the daily procedures.
  • Process and format data using Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and other software. Work closely with Data Coordinator.
  • Maintain facilities, inventory, equipment and supplies as required.
  • Participate in required training programs, conferences, courses or other aspects of professional growth.
  • Schedule and conduct daily team meetings in reference to anti-violence and therapeutic needs of students.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree
  • Highly proficient with all Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven experience in a Managerial position
  • At least one year of experience working with school aged children
  • Extremely detailed and accuracy-oriented
  • Exceptional work ethic
  • Ability to maintain multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to create a warm, welcoming and positive culture
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others and collaborate
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
