Description
Lead and manage a portfolio of HV/MV/LV substation projects from initiation to commissioning and handover. Develop and implement program execution strategies, schedules, and budgets. Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with approved baselines. Identify and manage interdependencies between projects within the program. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, utilities, and internal stakeholders. Conduct regular program review meetings and provide accurate progress reporting. Manage client expectations and ensure contractual obligations are met. Ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, standards, and utility requirements. Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities. Resolve high-level technical and execution issues in coordination with engineering and site teams. Identify program risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure corrective actions are taken for delays, cost overruns, or performance gaps. Track KPIs related to schedule, cost, quality, safety, and productivity. Lead and mentor Project Managers, Construction Managers, and support teams. Allocate resources effectively across the program. Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development initiatives. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is an advantage. Experience Minimum 12–15 years of experience in power transmission and substation projects. At least 5 years in a senior project or program management role. Proven experience managing multiple HV substation projects (132kV / 220kV / 400kV).
