Overview:
FedWriters is building a team for a new opportunity. We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our team supporting the United States Coast Guard’s Talent Management Transformation Program Integration Office (TMX-PIO). In this key role, you will provide expert program management services to oversee multiple projects and programs, ensuring they align with organizational goals and objectives and are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain programmatic and financial management plans, policies, and procedures to ensure effective program management and control
  • Oversee and manage multiple projects and programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards, and aligned with organizational goals
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement contingency plans ensuring program continuity and success
  • Monitor and report program progress to stakeholders, providing regular status reports, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Ensure compliance with program management methodologies and standards such as Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) or Agile
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including program plans, status reports, lessons learned, and other relevant documents
  • Communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, providing timely and transparent updates throughout the program lifecycle
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project execution, including setting goals, objectives, and priorities
  • Support portfolio management by developing initiative sizing and prioritization recommendations based on impact, cost, and complexit
