ABOUT SUNNYBROOK AND THE HARQUAIL CENTRE FOR NEUROMODULATION

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is one of Canada’s premiere academic health sciences centres, with 1.2 million patient visits annually and $100 million of research funding each year. The Hurvitz Brain Sciences Program (HBSP) is a dedicated platform for the treatment and research of the most common and challenging brain conditions, building on several decades of history and tradition at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in the management of brain disease. In 2018, we established the Harquail Centre for Neuromodulation (HCN) within HBSP, which has grown to be among Canada’s most comprehensive centres and among the world’s first to offer a complete range of neuromodulation strategies in one state-of-the-art facility.
