Flow Traders is looking for a Program Manager to join our team in Amsterdam. As Program Manager, you will be involved in the creation, direction and execution of global strategy initiatives with the goal of optimizing Flow Traders’ way of working and growing the business. You will be responsible for the successful and timely delivery of all projects, where collaboration between different regions, focus groups, internal departments and external stakeholders is required. In this role you will report to the Global Strategy Manager and be responsible for continuous execution of the Flow Traders global strategy. This function plays an important role in Flow Traders’ continued evolution towards a world-class global institution. The ideal candidate should be able to work with the organization in a peer-to-peer fashion, be effective without formal hierarchy, they should understand the whole value chain of the business including trading, technology, operations, risk and compliance. They understand the relevant wider market infrastructure impacting the business activities of Flow Traders including trading venues, prime brokers, CCPs, custodians, and finally, it’s important they have the industry knowledge and comprehension of the relevant regulatory framework. What you will do Work closely with the Global Strategy Team, the Global and Local Heads to define, clarify, structure, and implement key business initiatives aligned with company strategy Coordinate and manage complex projects where the collaboration of various teams, departments, regions and focus areas is required Ensure cross-departmental projects are delivered to meet expected impact within planned timeline Add structure and rigor to the wider team Act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to the Global Strategy Team, the Global and Local Heads Identify and escalate risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and sustained momentum across strategic projects/programs Lead strategy communication efforts that ensure clear articulation of strategic goals and vision across the organization Support the business planning cycle by ensuring strategic initiatives are prioritized, scoped, and resourced appropriately Contribute to the design and rollout of Strategy Office governance structures, frameworks, and project management tooling to monitor portfolio health and project/program delivery effectiveness Proactively identify and lead opportunities to expand the reach, scope, and value delivery of the Strategy Office within the organization Contribute to strategy definition and refinement by identifying business needs, synthesizing internal and external insights, and translating them into actionable strategic priorities and initiatives What you need to succeed An academic degree in a relevant field of study 5-10 years of relevant professional experience, 5+ years in program / large-scope project management Demonstratable success delivering strategic initiatives in dynamic, cross-functional environments Strong understanding of and affinity with trading and related operational processes, with proven ability to work effectively in technology-driven and highly digitized environments Structured, proactive problem solver with hands-on mindset and can-do attitude Analytical skills and data literacy; ability to interpret complex data sets and generate strategic insights Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across levels and functions Aim for excellence: a competitive hunger to perform at the highest standard and constantly push limits Team player with a collaborative mindset, high self-awareness, and the ability to work independently Flow Traders does not accept unsolicited resumes from any professional staffing or search firms.
