Job Title: Program Manager
Job Summary: We are hiring a Program Manager to work with our Plastic Injection Molding client in Shelby Township, Michigan! The Program Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of new and existing injection molding programs. This role serves as the primary liaison between internal teams and external customers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification. This position involves coordinating project documentation, scheduling, and facilitating communication between engineering teams and other departments to ensure the smooth execution of projects!
Job Type: Full-time, permanent.
Job Location: Shelby Township, MI.
Compensation Structure: $90,000-$105,000k per annum, depending on experience + excellent benefits + performance-based incentives + growth opportunities.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (Mechanical or Plastics Engineering preferred)
· 5+ years of experience in injection molding, tooling, or program management
· Strong understanding of mold design, process validation, and manufacturing workflows
· Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Gantt charts, etc.)
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
· Experience with automotive industry standards is a plus
Preferred Skills
· Familiarity with ERP systems and production scheduling
· Working knowledge of GD&T, CAD software, and mold flow analysis

Responsibilities

· Lead cross-functional teams through the lifecycle of injection molding programs- from concept to production launch
· Develop and manage detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource plans
· Coordinate tooling design, validation, and production readiness activities
· Interface with customers to define requirements, provide updates, and resolve issues
· Monitor and report on program performance using KPIs such as cycle time, scrap rate, and OEE
· Ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO, IATF 16949) and customer-specific requirements
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives across tooling, process, and workflow
· Manage risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
· Support APQP, PPAP, and other launch documentation requirements
