SUMMARY:

The Program Manager (PM) will lead and oversee the Recovery Care Coordination (RCC) Support Services contract for the Department of the Air Force. This senior-level position is responsible for the overall performance, compliance, and quality assurance of the Task Order. The PM serves as the primary point of contact between the contractor and Government leadership, ensuring successful delivery of non-clinical care management support for wounded, ill, and injured Airmen, Guardians, and their families.
Responsibilities:

NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Shall have strong writing skills and expertise in Section 508 compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and familiarity with style guides such as the GPO Style Manual or Chicago Manual of Style.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution (required).
  • Minimum of 4 years’ program management experience, including leadership of complex programs or contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience at the General Officer/SES level or equivalent, requiring direct coordination with senior officials.
  • At least 2 years’ experience with U.S. Government contracting (management, compliance, or acquisition support).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage geographically dispersed teams.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a favorable background investigation and Common Access Card (CAC).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior military service or extensive experience working with the Department of Defense.
  • Experience supporting wounded warrior, recovery, or veteran programs.
  • Advanced degree in management, public administration, or related field.
