POSITION OVERVIEW

The Program Manager plays a crucial role in the cable harness and electro-mechanical assembly industry by managing key customer programs, overseeing manufacturing processes, and ensuring overall program success. This role involves driving efficiency, maintaining client satisfaction, and facilitating the success of Golden State Assembly (GSA) through strategic program management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in program management within contract manufacturing, cable harness, or electro-mechanical assembly industries.
• Strong background in rapid prototyping and the ability to execute under tight deadlines.
• Results-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
• Experience in the EV market is a plus but not required.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple programs effectively.
• Broad manufacturing knowledge, including materials, processes, test logistics, and supply chain management.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with excellent problem-solving abilities and multitasking skills.
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in program management in a manufacturing and/or electronics environment.
• Previous experience in contract manufacturing, Cable/Harness, or over-molding industries is desirable.
• Spanish language proficiency preferred.

  Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

• Program Management: Manage key customer programs, including P&L responsibility, from purchase order through final delivery.
• Lead and direct teams to deliver results within the constraints of schedule, budget, and resources.
• Oversee large-scale programs related to manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with GSA’s business strategy.
• Client & Internal Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to drive efficiency and process improvements.
• Address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide technical support to clients.
• Work with procurement to address shortages or component issues, coordinating with other departments as needed.
• Sales & Quoting Support: Assist in the initial quoting process, receive client documentation, understand the scope, and facilitate communication with the Estimating Team.
• Prepare and host Quarterly Business Reviews with clients, presenting quotes and providing updates.
• Establish Long-Term Agreements, Material Commitments, and Stocking Agreements as required.
• Administrative Duties: Maintain a CRM program with updated client information, scheduling, and quoting details.
• Perform administrative tasks such as sending packing lists and invoices to ensure customer needs are met.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and service standards, meeting or exceeding established department metrics.
