The Faculty of Health Sciences is a large, diverse, and comprehensive unit, comprised of seven Schools (Nursing, Kinesiology, Health Studies, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Communication Sciences and Disorders and Food and Nutritional Sciences), two large Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and Advanced Health Care Practice and four Research Centers. The Faculty has more than 4,000 undergraduate students and more than 900 graduate students (200 PhD students).

The Program Manager, Graduate Programs and Program Development will play a critical role in supporting the development of high-quality graduate programs across the Faculty of Health Sciences, particularly in the Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, Advanced Health Care Practice Program, Kinesiology and Nursing graduate programs. Working closely with the Associate Dean, Graduate and Post-Doctoral Studies, Assistant Dean, Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs, School Directors, Graduate Chairs and other leaders across the faculty, the Program Manager will support the planning, development and integration of graduate programs including supporting critical processes to support students, faculty and staff in the delivery of exceptional learning experiences.
The Program Manager will play a critical role in supporting the work to introduce a new Professional Doctorate (DHSc) and support the integration of faculty-wide graduate programs across the Faculty of Health Sciences. With intimate knowledge of the programs, this leadership role will play an integral role in the coordination of project activities and resources, oversight and accountability for program and course development, maintenance of linkages with key constituencies and liaison among the course development teams, maintenance of necessary supplies and supporting budget planning for relevant program responsibilities.
