Haven Center of Oregon is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Program Manager to manage daily operations, supervise direct care staff, and ensure the highest quality of care for individuals with developmental disabilities in our 24-hour residential program. As a key member of a multidisciplinary care team, you will collaborate with family members, healthcare providers, case managers, service coordinators, and others to enrich the lives of those we serve.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Driver’s license required with good driving record
• Be able to read/write and speak fluent English
• Be physically able to assist residents with bathing, cooking, cleaning, etc.
• Be able to pass DHS / Criminal History Background Check
• Obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of hire (unless already certified, paid training provided)
• Obtain Oregon Intervention Systems (OIS) certification (paid training is provided)

​Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience with supervising employees in a managerial role
• Experience working with licensing requirements and conducting quality assurance reviews.
• Familiarity with Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) for 24-hour residential programs
• Management experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a 24-hour residential setting or similar environment.
• Experience with general computer operation and proficient using Microsoft Office including Word, and Excel

• Oversee the management and operation of a three to five bed home
• Contribute to a supportive and stable environment for our residents
• Supervise and train direct care staff
• Lead the development/implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISP) for residents
• Coordinate services with consultants and other healthcare providers, and serve as liaison with parents, guardians, neighbors, and county case managers
• Coordinate staff scheduling and be available to cover shifts in case of unexpected staff absences
• Ensure staff compliance with ISP, support documents, agency policy and Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs)
• Ensure the health and well-being of residents by following all doctor orders and administering medications per prescriptions
