Pay Grade: Admin / A $37.26 - $39.88

Summary:
The primary focus of this position will be Manager of a housing first model set of programs and will primarily focus on the Trueblood/Forensic populations with referrals originating from multiple sources. The Manager will assist staff to develop both consumer and landlord relationships, assist consumers and staff to identify, obtain, and maintain housing and an independent living status. Assist in managing housing resources, while coordinating the activities of the multiple housing teams and staff

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Familiar with Landlord Tenant Law and ensure that CRMHS is in compliance with applicable laws for housing programs.
  • Familiar with location matching, roommate matching, background checks, leasing/application packets
  • Familiarity with Rent/Lease information and assistance (e.g. notices, evictions, housing support, rent collection)
  • Familiarity with all aspects of Global Leasing specifically, including purpose, contracting, process, and general set-up
  • Work with the Lead Referral Coordinator to collaborate with community partners and organizations for referrals, housing placements, braided funding opportunities and long term supports as a point person for all programs.
  • Work with Data Specialist to ensure compliance with the HCA
  • Work with the Program Director and the HCA Program Managers to ensure compliance in all programs.
  • Work with CRMHS Compliance Team to ensure all policies and procedures stay up to date and the teams are within compliance.
  • Prioritize relationships with HCA, Forensic Partners, such as the jail, DOC, Navigators, etc.
  • Assist staff to develop and facilitate consumer groups as needed
  • Facilitate Team Meetings
  • Assist and coach staff to provide all aspects of Housing Support Services to individuals enrolled
  • Act as Liaison between staff, landlords, other partnering agencies
  • Coordinate with local profit and non-profits (e.g. HEN, VHA, Home and Community Services, Clark County Jail, SUD, Crisis, etc) as a point person for all programs
  • Coordinate care internally and within the Forensic Housing Teams to assure timely communication relative to consumer needs and preferences
  • Monitor documentation for appropriate records and charts
  • Provide staff training and follow up
  • Provide supervision to staff monthly and/or weekly as needed
  • Provide coaching plans as needed
  • Work with Director in regards to disciplinary action when needed
  • Work with a team of Peers and/or Case Managers, Leads, PA’s and the Program Director
  • Complete weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, for up to 4 housing teams/contracts as needed
  • Assist Program Director with program development, interviewing, hiring, regular staff evaluations and other administrative tasks as assigned
  • MOC Duties as Assigned
  • Cross train Lead staff as needed for identified administrative coverage
  • Maintain a caseload of up to 5 housing participants to maintain familiarity with all processes, and documentation platforms and guidelines
  • Assist with financial responsibility, including manage team credit card for booking hotels or other necessary purchases.
  • Manage reports, track receipts and work with accounting to ensure necessary purchases for the program are tracked properly.

Non-essential Job Functions:

  • Attend staff and planning meetings as scheduled.
  • Maintain communication and cooperative working relationships within the agency.
  • Other duties as assigned by Director.

Education, Licensing and Experience:

  • Minimum 1 yr experience in management or 3+ Years as a Lead Supervisor in a Housing First Program.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the social service field with mental illness, medically fragile and/or chemical dependency.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred

Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good communication and interpersonal skills, basic knowledge of chronic mental illness, customer service, maintaining and building therapeutic relationships. Assessment skills, multi-tasking, making decisions, problem solving, and good time management skills. Basic finance and budgeting skills. Flexible and open to change
