Description

The Program Manager Housing Services will oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of social work programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients. This role involves supervising social work staff, managing program budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, and developing partnerships with external agencies. The manager will work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to promote effective service delivery aligned with the organization’s mission and goals.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field preferred. GED required.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social work, including 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including those with mental health, substance use, or housing challenges.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and program evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure services are in compliance with organizational policies, state and federal regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and oversee program budgets, ensuring financial accountability and sustainability.
  • Staff Supervision and Development:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise social work staff and volunteers.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters client-centered care.
  • Client Services:
  • Oversee case management services and ensure clients receive appropriate resources and referrals.
  • Monitor client progress, ensuring individualized care plans are effectively implemented.
  • Address any client grievances or concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Partnerships and Collaboration:
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies.
  • Represent the organization in external meetings, coalitions, and events to advocate for client needs.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legal, ethical, and accreditation standards.
  • Collect and analyze program data, preparing reports for leadership and funders.Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and reports.
