MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. * 2 years of experience in program or project management. * Experience in the telecommunications industry (e.g., carrier, data center provider, Outside Plant (OSP), or Internet Service Provider (ISP)). * Experience with compliance and auditing against governmental regulations and developing policies and procedures (e.g., FedRAMP, GDPR, CFIUS, or Team Telecom). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. * Familiarity with US government interagency processes and economic national security issues related to CFIUS or Team Telecom reviews. * Familiarity with subsea cables, cable landing stations, and telecommunication infrastructure investments. * Familiarity with physical and cybersecurity measures for telecommunications and methods for auditing their implementation. * Ability to lead performance, quality, and compliance initiatives across internal and external teams, with the flexibility to support global program goals across multiple time zones. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. As a member of the Network Compliance team, you will facilitate and manage compliance with various telecommunications regulations across multiple countries and localities around the globe. You will understand the requirements of multiple regulators and work to keep up with regulatory and telecommunications industry change and the effects they may have on the Google network. You will work closely with internal legal, policy, submarine cable, network deployment, security, and software engineering teams and outside counsel, consultants and regulators. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
