Description
Lead the team through uncertainty by establishing program structure, operating cadence, objectives, and performance measurement. Accountable for program scope and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost, and quality commitments. Create and maintain detailed schedules using Microsoft Project, highlighting interdependencies between teams and holding team members accountable. Drive the team toward proactive decision making, considering difficult trade-offs between product lines and customer value propositions. Employ effective requirements and change management techniques. Assess and promptly communicate potential impacts of any changes and recommendations to stakeholders. Maintain a robust Communications Plan, inclusive of regular presentations to senior leaders. Prepare and publish formal program metrics and reports on a (minimum) monthly basis. Lead teams in program risk assessment and deployment of sound mitigation strategies. Monitor risk and take decisive and early action to resolve any issues. Work with functional leaders to accurately forecast, monitor, and report on program financials. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. Minimum 6 years of experience in program and project management methodologies, processes, and tools. Minimum 8 years of experience in power distribution equipment engineering, manufacturing, marketing, sales, installation, or maintenance. Able to travel up to 25% annually. No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of one of the locations listed. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Established network across Electrical Sector Americas Engineering and broad knowledge of Product Lines. Understanding of data center customers and power solutions. Minimum 2 years of experience with new product development (NPD) programs and stage gate processes. Master's degree or MBA. Agile or Scrum certification Able to navigate uncertainty Verbal and written communication skills Stakeholder Management Detail and process oriented Problem solving and decision making skills Leading large teams across multiple locations, time zones, and cultures.
