Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in supply chain logistics.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting to drive operational improvements using SQL or Looker dashboarding.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years of experience in developing and implementing material delivery strategies for logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in logistics network design and optimization, encompassing warehouse operations analysis, logistics cost simulation, inventory optimization, transportation network design, and distribution center planning.
  • Experience improving on-time delivery and driving business impact.
  • Experience with developing and implementing logistics strategies across warehousing, labor, and transportation, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze historical shipments and other key operational data to ensure future shipments are delivered on-time.
  • Prepare and distribute reporting for partner teams that highlight the performance of Google Cloud Logistics and support ad-hoc analysis requests related to shipment data and special projects as needed.
  • Partner with Google Cloud Logistics Solutions and Engineering team to ensure systems are designed and informed by operational and partner team insights.
  • Communicate the supply chain strategies along with its underlying assumptions and potential risks to stakeholders to inform downstream logistics planning and execution (e.g., transportation, warehousing, labor) as well as the impact the strategy will have on partner teams.
  • Collaborate actively with various departments and stakeholders as well as lead or facilitate cross-functional review meetings, presenting data, documenting key assumptions, and helping to achieve consensus.
