Description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Program Manager on a temporary basis on our Independent Fuels team. The temporary term is expected to be approximately 12 months.
This position is a remote opportunity with a preference for candidates in Saskatoon; would consider other locations throughout Western Cananda for the right candidate.

WHO YOU ARE:

You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Engineering, or Agriculture. Class 5 Drivers License is required.
  • You have 8+ years of experience in the petroleum industry with experience in contract agreements, sales or marketing. Leadership experience would be an asset.
  • You have an understanding and appreciation of the sales process, how small businesses operate and sustain their ability to survive in a very competitive environment.
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
Responsibilities
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with stakeholders across the Co-operative Retailing System, independent dealer network and professional contractors .
  • Oversee the design, implementation, execution and management of FCL’s independent fuel programs including site conversions and store openings with a focus on driving growth and efficiency.
  • Provide comprehensive training on the various programs to Sales Advisors, local Co-op personnel and site operators, prioritizing a hypercare approach within the team to address issues and enhance both dealer and customer experience.
  • Review and implement environmental and operational standards as needed.
  • Manage the administration of signed contracts and the department program budget and reporting requirements.
    Who you’ll work with :
    The Team: You will work closely with a team of Account Management Specialists and Operations Advisors and will have 4 direct reports. You will report into the Director, Independent Fuels. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration and continuous improvements with a focus on driving sales.
    The Collaborators: You will work closely with FCL and CRS stakeholders, including Sales Advisors, Operations Managers, local Co-op teams and Dealers.
