Description

At Stericycle, we’re on a mission to protect what matters—people, brands, and the environment. For over 35 years, we’ve been a trusted partner in compliance-based solutions, evolving from a start-up in medical waste management to a leader across various highly regulated industries. Every day, we help organizations safely manage materials that could pose risks to health, security, and the environment.
Now, we’re looking for an experienced ISO Program Manager to join our team and help drive our commitment to operational excellence and sustainability. If you’re passionate about quality, compliance, and continuous improvement, this could be the perfect role for you!

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Quality, Environmental Discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience managing ISO programs, preferably in a regulated industry.

CERTIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Membership or eligibility for a professional institution in environmental, waste management, quality, or engineering.
  • Valid driver’s license (some travel may be required).
  • Strong ability to interpret strategic objectives and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Proven leadership skills to inspire, coach, and manage teams toward meeting objectives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to interpret and communicate complex requirements effectively.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills—able to convey ideas clearly and diplomatically.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the ISO Program Manager, you’ll lead and maintain our Business Management System (BMS) to ensure compliance with multiple ISO certifications, including ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), along with the Waste Industry Competence Management Scheme (CMS) standard. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams to secure and maintain these certifications, while also supporting EHS initiatives that reduce risk and enhance business operations.
This is a strategic and hands-on role where your expertise in ISO standards will directly impact Stericycle’s operational integrity and long-term sustainability.
