Description
Manages Profit and Loss for the Division's site NPD projects, with Responsibility, Authority, and Accountability (RAA) for project scope delivery and execution within technical, schedule, cost, and quality commitments. Champions Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership across the Division site/business unit and facilitates program management process implementation. Supervises Project and/or Program Managers assigned to the site, setting objectives, goals, and providing direction regarding customer concerns, scope changes, and risk assessment. Acts as the primary site/business unit interface with the customer, improving responsiveness to requirements and managing expectations and contractual commitments internally. Coordinates support for program teams by organizing PM reviews and preparing/publishing PM metrics and reports. Maintains metrics for programs and contracts, including earned value (CPI/SPI), quality, technical performance, and delivery through all PROLaunch phases. Integrates all risks and requirements of the platform program into a complete entity by planning, controlling, and measuring all elements to ensure successful achievement of goals. Manages customer contracts, pricing, terms, conditions, and contractual flow-down; establishes and negotiates pricing strategies and develops contract negotiation strategies; ensures effective change management. Provides periodic program updates (Program Status Report - Green/Yellow/Red) on contractual milestones and high-risk areas (technical, cost, schedule) to business units and divisional, group, and sector levels. Plays a key role in developing new business proposals and executing overall program plans. Seeks team input to promote rapid issue resolution and coaches/provides feedback and rewards based on performance indicators. Bachelors Degree- Engineering preferred 10+ years experience in Program Management; or a combination of Program Management with some Engineering and/or Product Development Management Experienced in Aerospace New Product Development (NPD) programs Proven Leadership skills - capability to lead change in an Integrated Team (IPT) environment across multiple sites and customers globally. Very proficient in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP) highly recommended Experience in Risk Management Strong analytical skills and business acumen Broad knowledge of the Aerospace industry
