Position Overview:  Responsible for the oversight and outcomes of Building Strong Foster/Adoptive Parents and the recruitment/retention of foster parents. Ensures targets set forth by DSS are achieved in area such as Outreach and Recruitment, Orientation and Engagement as well as the  Screening and Selection process. The Program Manager will supervise the Foster Parent Recruiters, Foster Parent Trainers and the Data Management Record Coordinator. Ensures foster homes meet regulatory standards and agency expectations and records are in compliance. Represents agency at events and DSS meetings. Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with experience in child welfare or foster care required. Recruiting and training experience strongly preferred. Must have excellent engagement and assessment skills, good writing and computer skills.
