Position Summary:
Reporting to the Associate Director of the McGill Executive Institute (MEI) and collaborating closely with key stakeholders, this role will focus on creating and implementing a range of open-enrollment and customized executive education solutions (onsite, online, and hybrid) for workplace learners in Canada and abroad.
The incumbent will work autonomously with senior executives and HR experts to understand the learning needs of managers and executives among corporate and not-for-profit client organizations. Possessing solid project management expertise, people skills, process efficiency, and team development qualities, the role includes planning, managing and executing initiatives at all stages of the learning journey including: 1) Building and maintaining relationships with key clients; 2) Liaising with corporate client representatives and teaching faculty to define project objectives that are clear and attainable; 3) Procuring the project requirements, agreements and material or technology needed to accomplish the learning solution; 4) Use professional expertise to prioritize activities and assess any risks or recommend modifications to the project; 5) Serve as the key MEI representative/liaison with the client throughout the coordination, delivery and project follow-up; 6) Participate in the development of new initiatives that support the strategic direction of the unit.

Team player with solid entrepreneurial experience and the capacity to rally efforts amongst various stakeholder groups. Excellent communication, networking, negotiation, and presentation skills. Demonstrated creativity, problem solving, critical analysis, and decision-making skills. Ability to establish priorities and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines. Ability to accomplish goals working through formal and informal channels, with diplomacy and tactfulness. Proven ability to identify emerging business opportunities and build long-term relationships as well as evaluate and propose ways to help the business reach its full potential. Demonstrated ability to develop and meet budget goals. Ten (10+) years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience. Knowledge of English and French: spoken and written. McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level #4 on a scale of 0-4.
