MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Managing multiple projects / teams within a large, complex program
  • Scheduling and facilitating necessary meetings and related action items
  • Pursuing iterative process improvements and collaborative conversations
  • Working with outside vendors (if applicable) and internal New Balance teams to plan and manage the project activities, provide governance and oversight, provide status and other inputs to Business, IT, and Leadership stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and manage project and program risks, dependencies, and issues (and related mitigation plans); escalate in a clear and timely manner as appropriate
  • Providing RAG state and status updates / slide decks for reviews and updates to the business / IT stakeholders
  • Developing leadership updates outlining status, accomplishments, and critical next steps
  • Providing mentoring and coaching to other project managers

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • B.S. with 5+ years’ experience in a relevant technical field, including 4 years’ experience as a Project Manager in IT or similar field
  • Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet
  • Understanding of/hands-on experience with software development life cycle
  • Ability to work within an Agile lifecycle tool such as ADO (Microsoft DevOps) or JIRA
  • Demonstrated influence without authority, self-motivated with the ability to work independently and willing to take a hands-on approach and help the team to drive success
