Are you a seasoned leader with a heart for service and a passion for housing justice? N Street Village is seeking a dedicated Program Manager to oversee operations at Erna’s House, a supportive housing program serving women experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, and substance use disorders.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a team, shape impactful programming, and contribute to a community where every woman is treated with dignity and respect.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree in human services (preferred) or Bachelor’s with 5+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Licensure (LGSW, LICSW, LGPC, LPC) preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals living with HIV/AIDS and vulnerable populations.
  • Strong understanding of Housing First principles and trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and cultural competency skills.
  • Familiarity with DC social services and housing systems.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership & Supervision: Manage daily operations and supervise case managers and program associates. Provide coaching, conduct regular team meetings, and support professional development.
  • Program Coordination: Oversee resident programming, coordinate with property management for unit turnover and maintenance, and collaborate with volunteer services to enhance client support.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure contract compliance, conduct internal audits, and maintain accurate documentation in alignment with funder requirements.
  • Client Engagement: Manage intake referrals, facilitate reasonable accommodation requests, and address resident grievances with empathy and professionalism.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery and community integration.
