JOB SUMMARY

The Program Manager works with many levels of leadership and staff to manage program efforts based on industry best practices; works as the single point of contact for facilitation and communication of program goals, deliverables, and schedules, and must be an excellent communicator; various levels of documentation will be produced at each stage of the program and the program manager is often the person who creates these with input from others.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Two or more years of job-related experience

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Certifications, Licenses or Permits:
o Project Management Professional - (PMP)
o Certified Associate in Project Management - (CAPM)

PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s Degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Prior experience in higher education
Skills with Drupal and Qualtrics, interest or experience working with university faculty
Interest or experience with organizational well-being efforts and topics
Ability to produce audio and video content for webpages.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job duty 1: Manage aspects of program planning for OFPD, including registration, location and catering, communication with attendees, on-site event support, and post-session evaluation and assessment, as well as asynchronous content delivery.
Job duty 2: Manage OFPD communications, including newsletters, webpages, and online promotion through Institute Communications.
Job duty 3: Manage data collection and program assessment for OFPD, including reports.
Job duty 4: Conduct secondary research on assigned topics, especially around faculty areas of interest and workplace well-being.
Job duty 5: Produce media for workshops and asynchronous programs, including podcasts and video content.
Job duty 6: Other duties as assigned.
