Ontario Family Group Homes (OFGH) is a provider of supported group living, to a group of diverse youth and adults within the developmental services sector. Our programs strike a balance between fostering a sense of community while honouring individuality, providing a safe and supportive environment for personal growth and development.
We’re seeking a Program Manager who will lead frontline staff, oversee day-to-day program operations, and ensure compliance with Ministry regulations and agency standards. This is a key leadership role that supports client well-being and staff excellence.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in Social Services (e.g., DSW, SSW, CYW)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in social services or residential care
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Valid Class G Driver’s Licence
  • Current CPR/First Aid
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check/Broad Record Check
  • Excellent communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage crisis situations and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong report writing and active listening skills
  • Familiarity with Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) standards

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision to staff and attend assigned programs weekly
  • Manage day-to-day operations across residential programs
  • Respond promptly to incidents and submit required documentation
  • Conduct monthly reviews of clients’ behavioural progress
  • Participate in on-call rotation
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and staff training initiatives
  • Attend clinical meetings and liaise with psychologists and clinicians
  • Ensure up-to-date certifications for team members
  • Support payroll documentation and approval processes
  • Address performance concerns in collaboration with HR
  • Maintain health, safety, and cleanliness of residences
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with families and external partners
  • Mentor senior staff and promote leadership within the team
  • Monitor adherence to Health & Safety and Ministry standards
