As a program manager in the Partner Resources Organization (PRO) Program Management Office (PMO), you will play a critical role in driving strategic programs that support our commitment to offering the best jobs in retail, strengthening partner foundations, and enabling business transformation across our global organization. You will collaborate across PRO teams—including Talent & Inclusion, Total Rewards, Service Delivery, and North America Partner Resources—as well as with Finance, Technology, and other enterprise functions to deliver high-impact initiatives that align with Starbucks' enterprise and PRO strategic priorities. As a program manager - Partner Resources Organization, PMO, you will Strategic Execution & Program Delivery Lead and manage multiple concurrent, cross-functional programs aligned with PRO and enterprise strategic priorities. Ensure end-to-end delivery by managing schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder engagement. Facilitate collaboration across PRO teams and enterprise partners to drive innovation and operational excellence. Proactively identify and remove roadblocks to maintain momentum and ensure strategic outcomes are achieved across all programs. Program Planning & Governance Define program scope, deliverables, and critical path dependencies in partnership with PRO leadership and stakeholders Establish and maintain governance structures, operating rhythms, and reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability. Owns the vision, roadmap, and value realization of programs Partner with Finance and Business Operations to develop cost estimation and funding strategies aligned with portfolio goals Leadership & Communication Foster a culture of trust, integrity, and collaboration across diverse teams Lead with empathy, courage, and clarity—navigating complex conversations and driving fact-based, actionable outcomes. Champion decision-making that balances data, stakeholder input, and strategic alignment We'd love to hear from people with: 3-5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably within HR, organizational development, or enterprise transformation. Proven success in delivering large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment. Strong financial acumen and experience with portfolio management tools (e.g., MS PPM, Tableau). 4-year degree preferred Familiarity with Agile methodologies and HR systems; PMP or PGMP certification preferred. Demonstrated ability to influence and shape outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups, including senior leaders, without direct authority. Proven judgment in knowing when to advocate strongly for an idea, when to pivot strategy, and when to pause or pull back based on organizational readiness and context. Ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution, adapting plans as needed to maintain momentum and impact. Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, with a track record of making sound decisions amid shifting priorities.
