POSITION SUMMARY:
The Centre for Social Impact (CSI) is a collaboration between the Business Schools of four leading Australian universities and is the nation’s foremost provider of social impact education. Our purpose is to ignite positive, lasting social change for people and communities through education, research, and engagement with the not-for-profit, business, philanthropic, and government sectors.
The Program Manager – Professional Development (PD) is responsible for leading the delivery and continuous enhancement of CSI’s professional development programs. Currently, the portfolio includes two world-class rated programs—Social Impact Leadership Australia (SILA) and Governance for Social Impact—with planned expansion to include The Giving Academy.
This role also oversees coordination of future programs and supports partnerships, business development, and growth initiatives to broaden CSI’s offerings, thereby strengthening knowledge and capacity across the social purpose sector.
Working closely with funders, faculty, delivery partners, participants, and CSI colleagues, the Program Manager ensures a consistently outstanding learner experience while scaling the impact of CSI’s educational programs. They contribute to CSI’s broader growth strategy by fostering relationships, enhancing program partnerships, and driving business development in collaboration with the CEO, Industry Director, Communications Director, and the wider CSI team.
Interstate travel is a key component of this role, including supporting SILA’s three annual retreats. In total, travel for program delivery is expected approximately four to six times per year for three to five days at a time.
We are looking for a dynamic, high-energy professional who works at pace but with accuracy. The ideal candidate is engaging, highly interpersonal, and possesses excellent communication skills. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about delivering impactful learning experiences that contribute to social change.
This is a high-impact role for someone passionate about social impact, lifelong learning, and expanding the reach and effectiveness of professional education across Australia.
