Summary, Job Description, and Qualifications Job Title: Program Manager - Class 1 Residential Reports To: Regional Director Direct Reports: None Summary: As a partner in building brighter futures for youth and their families, your role will be to provide direct supervision and other related technical and clinical support activities as directed by the Regional Director that align with The Village Network’s Mission, Vision & Values. Essential Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities: Recruits, assigns, evaluates, schedules, supervises, and disciplines direct reports. Directly supervises and delegates responsibilities to the staff on a daily basis. Assures appropriate staffing levels are maintained. Completes or assures completion of all required documentation. Maintaining budget compliance. Attends various meetings. Organizes and implements The Village Network facility components, meeting all ODJFS, ODMH/ADANH Certification licensing requirements and The Village Network policies (especially those related to Client care, patient rights, nurturance and protection, discipline, and treatment plans). Strives to meet the Goals & Objectives from TVN’s Strategic Plan. Implements TVN’s clinical models (TIC, NMT & CPS) with fidelity. Assures the use of high risk interventions (restraints) are kept to a minimum through the Implementation The Six Core Strategies to Creating Violence Free and Coercion Free Treatment Environments. Provides supervision of staff including peer review, individual supervision, and group supervision activities. Ensures proper training of staff to meet the needs of The Village Network. Recruitment of referral sources and partnerships. Performs other duties as required including, but not limited to, quality assurance duties, program development, screen referrals, agency relations, and court appearances. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to use a computer; familiarity with Word, Outlook, and Electronic Health Record (EHR). Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work or related field desired; LSW, LPC, LISW, or LPCC licensure a plus! 5 years previous experience working with residential programs; Supervisory experience a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong time management skills; willingness to multi-task and provide crisis intervention; ability to work in a team environment. Valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintains a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing The Village Network with vehicle insurance. Physical Demands: Ability to comply with The Village Network requirements for using restraints including sufficient strength and completion of extensive training. Ability to handle bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, reaching, and walking for periods of time. Must be able to lift 20 pounds independently. Must be able to remain alert to problems, needs or emergencies that might arise on any shift, maintaining a safe environment for the clients. Ability to communicate (verbal and written) with all levels or personnel, internal and external to the company.
