Description GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION: The Program Manager I is responsible for the daily operations, staffing, compliance, and resident care at a licensed 6-bed mental health facility. This leadership role ensures a safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment for residents by supervising staff, managing schedules and budgets, maintaining licensing standards, and coordinating with clinical and administrative teams. The Program Manager I is accountable for delivering high-quality services in alignment with Tatum Psychology Employment Group and Sierra Meadows Behavioral Health’s mission and values. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, On Call Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Program Operations & Compliance Ensure the facility operates in full compliance with Community Care Licensing (CCL), Title 22 Regulations and internal policies. Maintain current records, documentation, and reports required for audits and inspections. Monitor and ensure the safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of the facility. Respond to incidents and emergencies, ensuring appropriate documentation and follow-up. 2. Staff Leadership & Scheduling Oversee direct care staff including hiring, training, supervision, and performance evaluation. Prepare and maintain weekly staffing schedules and manage coverage for call-outs. Provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action when necessary. Foster a team culture aligned with trauma-informed care and recovery principles. 3. Resident Support & Environment Support a structured, therapeutic environment that promotes recovery, dignity, and personal growth. Collaborate with clinical staff to support implementation of individualized service plans. Maintain consistent house routines and ensure residents are engaged in daily living activities. Support conflict resolution and de-escalation during resident crises. 4. Budgeting & Facility Management Manage household budget, including tracking expenditures and maintaining petty cash. Order food, supplies, and essential items for daily operations. Coordinate facility repairs and vendor services as needed. Maintain accurate inventory and expense reports. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS: Performs other duties as may be assigned. Follows and supports TPEG & Sierra Meadows Behavioral Health policies and procedures. Works collaboratively and cooperatively with internal and external partners. Represents TPEG, Inc., by embodying the mission, vision and values of the organization. Travels occasionally during the workday and on occasional overnight stay. (Compensation for mileage, food and lodging provided.) Maintains regular attendance at work and company activities and demonstrates punctuality regarding deadlines. Displays creativity and vision in recommending new tactics and strategies. Expands and updates job knowledge through educational opportunities and professional learning.
