Description

SAIC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager (PM) to lead the Aerial Edge Networking Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in defense program management, a deep understanding of aerial networking, and a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale defense projects.

  • Lead and manage the Aerial Edge Networking ABMS program, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Oversee all aspects of program execution, including resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to ensure timely delivery of program milestones.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the program team.

Provide leadership and mentorship to program team members, promoting professional development and growth
Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and 18+ years or more of related experience; Masters and 16+ years or more experience; PhD or JD and 13+years or more experience.

  • An active DOD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI. Must be a US citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management within the defense industry.
  • PMP certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of aerial networking, including its components, capabilities, and strategic importance.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale defense projects, with a focus on system integration and delivery.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with defense acquisition processes and regulations.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with agile project management methodologies.
  • Experience working with government customers and stakeholders.

    Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
    Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site
