Program Manager, Strategy Implementation Permanent Full-Time Job Band: G Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Program Manager, Strategy Implementation will take a leadership role in the implementation and operations of the newly approved OMD Strategic Plan. This role will develop plans within the established strategic parameters, develop resource plans, performance measurement, and operations of key new activity. The Program Manager will lead or enable in the preparation of compelling digital health proposals, business cases, implementation plans, and other supporting business development activities along with initial operations. The role will provide leadership, management and/or oversight of the initial implementation of approved initiatives. Demonstrated knowledge and prior experience with: OntarioMD’s business strategy, operations, and key products and services; background and experience in digital health IT service development and delivery; and a proven ability to convey and adapt key messages to a variety of target audiences is critical. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Program Manager, Strategy Implementation will: Lead in the production of delegated strategy implementation, business development artefacts which advance OntarioMD’s corporate strategy. This includes business proposals, presentations, response to or issuance of Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Services (RFSs) etc. As new activities are initiated, provide operational leadership and oversight. Guide the development of new activities and provide leadership with the anticipation that they lead to mature programs. Assess, translate, and incorporate existing and potential clients' business needs into clear, succinct key messages and deliverables. Lead in the preparation of resource allocations, timelines, costing, risks, and assumptions for delegated activity. Lead in the initial implementation of successful proposals or other business development activities in alignment with the approved objectives, scope, and deliverables for delegated activities. Lead or assist with creation of charters, resource procurement or staff augmentation. Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of OntarioMD Corporate Strategy, products and services, its customers’ needs and interests, resources, and stakeholder landscape. Lead workshops necessary to advance business development initiatives. Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including management and executive. Provide supervision for contracted resources – aligned deliverables and budget. Provide communication to staff on strategic activities to promote awareness and connection of staff to emerging strategies. Present and/or prepare communications that promote OntarioMD products and services, business development activities. Manage any initial project budgets. Requirements that are important to us: Minimum 10 years experience in Ontario Digital Health landscape. 3 years prior experience with OntarioMD products and services. Prior experience working with Ministry of Health, Ontario Health, Ontario Medical Association, and/or at least one other care delivery, regulatory or health care service delivery organizations. Multi-jurisdictional experience is a definite asset. Demonstrated experience with preparation or contribution to successful digital health proposals, statements of work and other key business development artefacts. Creative writing techniques to develop a wide variety of internal and external documents for various purposes and different audiences. Demonstrated, effective oral and written communication skills oriented to various audiences including management and executive. Demonstrated political acuity in the digital health and healthcare system landscape including negotiation, mediation and relationship management skills to work closely and lead consultations with stakeholders. Confidence in working closely with executive-level staff as well as the ability to work independently. Prior experience developing clear, crisp visually appealing documents.
