POSITION DETAILS:
Current Rate of Pay: Min = $45.99/hr, Max = $53.33/hr
Employment type: 18 Month Contract
Hours of work: 35 hrs/week

Responsibilities:
- Designs and guides strategic community and/or stakeholder engagement strategies
- With supervision, prepares, manages and controls program budgets and financial reporting
- Engages and works in collaboration with program staff, TRCA divisions and external partners, stakeholders, working groups or committees to maximize resources and program impact
- Oversees the coordination and drafting of grant applications and funding proposals for specific projects, including non-traditional funding sources and partnerships to achieve mutual objectives
- Maintains current knowledge of program area, funding and partnership approaches and infuses innovation into program enhancements
- Evaluates program delivery effectiveness and efficiencies and undertake ongoing improvements. This involves tracking industry best practice and programs in relation to targeted indicators and outcomes
- Manages and hosts training events, workshops, community events, or seminars related to program area
- Communicates with team members regularly to assess workload and status of activities, amends work and reassigns staff as needed to direct workflow and accommodate for any situational circumstances
- Facilitates recruitment and onboarding of staff, providing on-the-job training and support as needed. Manages and evaluates employee performance, identifying areas for improvement in training, development, processes, resources, and procedures to enhance team effectiveness.
- Synthesizes community and partner insights to recommend strategic approaches for sustainable urban renewal, developing action plans, designing programs, and executing implementation strategies that drive social and environmental impact.
