Nevada Public Health Foundation, Inc. OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for development and delivery of educational materials, classes, and presentations to support the goals and objectives of one or more Foundation programs. This position provides logistical and administrative support to NPHF. The Program Manager is responsible for the coordination and facilitation of NPHF events including virtual and in-person training, topical training, meetings, and an annual conference.
The primary programs the Program Manager will work on are: Healthy Relationships; Mandatory Reporting; Supporting Teens Achieving Real-Life Success (S.T.A.R.S.); and the Prevention, Screening, and Resource training for survivors of sexual assault, sexual harassment domestic violence, and stalking.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and administer the Healthy Relationships curriculum to teens including marketing, scheduling presentations, curriculum revision, data collection, issuing reports, and engaging in community outreach.
- Develop and administer the S.T.A.R.S. training to pregnant and parenting teens including marketing, scheduling classes, developing curriculum, secure donations, updating resources, purchase supplies, data collection, issuing reports, and engaging in community outreach.
- Develop and administer the Mandatory Reporting curriculum to mandatory reporters including marketing, scheduling classes, data collection, issuing reports, managing continuing education credits, and engage in community outreach.
- Develop and administer the training on the prevention, screening, trauma-informed response, and available resources for survivors of sexual assault, sexual harassment, domestic violence, and stalking including review and revision of virtual training to ensure content and resources remain current.
- Facilitate culturally appropriate training for a variety of audiences regarding the multiple facets of the mission of the organization.
- Manage program expenses ensuring all purchases are allowable and within program budget.
- Develop and distribute marketing materials including but not limited to brochures, handbooks, social media graphics, and resource lists for young adults as well as professionals who provide services.
- Collect information on potential consumers, collect and organize data, oversee distribution of products, and keep records of educational product recipients and contacts.
- Work directly with NPHF staff and partner agencies to carry out logistics and planning of an annual conference including stakeholder engagement, creation of marketing material and event agendas, developing and managing the registration site, procuring event location, manage the continuing education process.
- Participate in health fairs and other public events to promote NPHF, its mission and objectives, and its educational products.
- Frequent statewide travel. May include some evening and weekend hours.

- Comfortable speaking on sensitive topics including Statutory Sexual Seduction, consent, birth control, STDs, teen pregnancy, sexual assault, and interpersonal relationships.
- Engages professionally in a variety of sectors: i.e., public officials, representatives of state and local government, medical staff, parents, teens, social workers, etc.
- Possesses strong analytical skills: interpreting data, reasoning through complex problems and situations; and comprehending complex rules and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adaptive to new features and technologies (Adobe Spark, Canva, Constant Contact, Canva, Facebook, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in education, communication, public health, social work, or related humanities field and 1 year work/volunteer experience. NPHF will consider additional years of work experience in training, curriculum development, and engaging in community outreach if the applicant does not have a degree.
- Experience with project management, curriculum development, training, and community outreach.
- Experience with travel and meeting logistics preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
