REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS*

  • Bachelors degree is required
  • At least 10 years experience working with faculty, providing progressively responsible account oversight and management of project grant budgets and balances.
Responsibilities
  • The Program Manager will provide budgetary management and administrative support services to each of the individual Research Projects, including the Admin Core. This includes management if subawards and funds flow to each of the 4 involved institutions (Michigan/BCM/Rush/Emory).
  • The Program Manager will work with the Executive Team to interface across the research projects and core services at each of the three institutions. They will work to help projects capitalize on existing strengths and avoid duplication of effort.

  • The successful candidate will assist the executive team in providing timely communication between Center Investigators and Project Staff, NIH officials, the FX community of scientists and the broader audience of basic science researchers, clinicians, and trainees, and the public.
  • The Program Manager will assist with organization of an annual evaluation of the Center activities by the External Advisory Board- a four-member panel recruited from external Fragile X research and stakeholder communities.
