Responsible for the hiring, in program training and supervision of all assigned staff. Duties and Responsibilities: Promote choice, provide appropriate support and coordinate activities to foster individual wellbeing, growth and development Work with the Interdisciplinary Team in the development of the ISP Plan. Ensure that all services, programs and guidelines outlined in a individual’s ISP are implemented Ensure that all Kennedy Center and DDS regulations and policies are adhered to. Participate in all licensing and Quality Service Reviews. Ensure all trainings for staff and oneself are up to date Manage the petty cash and purchases for the programs, keeping within the guidelines and budget Manage the personal finances for those living in KC residential programs. Provide professional and timely communication with co-workers, supervisor, families and guardians and other team members. Record and maintain individuals records in Therap as assigned, Data entry, case notes, updated contacts and information. Audit staff's entries into Therap for compliance. Work directly with the program nurse to ensure all medical needs of the individual are met, doctors’ orders and protocols are in place. Administer mediations in accordance with DDS regulations. Ensuring all medications are available and orders followed. Advocate for the individuals whenever necessary as well teach individuals to advocate for themselves. Ensure the protection of all individuals rights and safety by following HIPAA regulations, ensuring privacy and reporting any type of abuse or neglect. Intervene in emergencies or behavioral situations as needed. Ensure that GER's, DDS 255 and critical incident reports are completed in a timely manner. Complete all resolutions to the GERS in a timely manner. Maintain a comfortable home or program space, assuring a clean and safe environment. Provide transportation to individuals as assigned. Ensure that all annual assessments are completed. Accompany individuals on community outings, appointments and family visits as assigned. To be on call for programs as assigned. Ensure all emergency data information is updated in a timely manner. Complete monthly billing as assigned. Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred Two years of experience working in the human services field Two years of experience in the development and supervision of staff. Valid driver’s license Compassion and patience for those you work with. The ability to be professional while representing the individuals and agency. Must maintain PMT, CPR and DDS Med Certifications Physical Requirements: Ability to lift to 50lbs Have the physical endurance to use PMT holds. Have the physical endurance to be able to lift and transfer individuals as assigned. Ability to provide personal care which may include toileting, bathing, feeding, lifting, and transferring an individual.
