Department: COM | Biochemistry & Molecular Tackett Adm Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: The Program Manager will provide comprehensive administrative and financial support to the IDeA National Resource for Quantitative Proteomics. The National Resource is a large NIH-funded program that provides outreach and research support to investigators both internal to UAMS and from outside institutions. Working under the supervision of the lead administrator and resource leadership, the position will support operations across multiple ongoing initiatives while ensuring compliance with federal funding requirements. Ideal Candidate Profile: Position requires an individual who is highly organized and efficient, self-motivated, and capable of executing assigned duties with minimal supervision. Must demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced research environment. Experience with federal grant administration and familiarity with NIH reporting requirements preferred. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree PLUS four (4) years of project/program management experience CRS certification or obtain certification within two years of hire, Grants Management certification or obtain certification within two years of hire. Knowledge of NIH Grants Policy statement. Capable of working independently. High attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree ACRP or SOCRA certifications preferred Knowledge if IDeA program and associated funding requirements. Additional Information: Responsibilities: Financial Management and Oversight Manage NIH grant budgets in collaboration with resource and departmental staff Track and process invoices from vendors and service providers to ensure timely payment Maintain detailed financial records for audit compliance Compile quarterly and annual financial metrics for NIH progress reports Coordinate with UAMS Grants Accounting on all grant financial management activities Program Administration and Coordination Plan and coordinate onsite educational workshops, including venue selection, logistics, and materials Oversee internship program logistics, including applications, participant communication, and compliance with HR guidelines Arrange travel for staff, visiting scientists, and program participants Coordinate with UAMS offices (Facilities, IT, HR) for program support Maintain program calendars, scheduling systems, and prepare agendas/minutes for leadership meetings Communications and Outreach Manage content for the resource website, including updates on news, publications, and services Monitor user feedback and recommend improvements Assist with newsletters, annual reports, and promotional materials Data Management and Reporting Maintain databases of users, services provided, and program metrics Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for stakeholders Other Duties Support additional program activities and tasks as assigned by leadership Salary Information: Commensurate with education and experience.
