Join a team that thrives on creativity, agility, and impact.    What you will be doing:  As Program Manager, Social Media, you will play a key role in shaping how Staples shows up across highly visible social platforms. You will manage the planning, coordination, and execution of social media programs that bring brand storytelling, campaign activation, and always-on content to life. You will partner closely with Brand, Creative, Marketing, and PR teams to deliver engaging, timely, and platform-optimized content that strengthens brand equity and drives meaningful engagement.    Key Responsibilities:  - Manage and maintain the social content calendar aligned to campaigns, promotions, and brand storytelling  - Coordinate with Brand, Creative, Marketing, and PR teams to ensure assets and messaging are ready for social publishing  - Adapt campaign messaging into platform-specific social content  - Oversee publishing across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others  - Support creation and scheduling of social content, including short-form and trend-based formats  - Monitor social channels, conversations, and trends to identify engagement opportunities  - Engage with online communities and respond to comments to enhance brand presence  - Track social media performance metrics and contribute to reporting and insights  - Maintain social calendars, trackers, and reporting tools  - Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of content    What You Bring to the Table:  - Strong interest and understanding of social media platforms and digital culture  - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail  - Ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate across teams  - Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills  - Strong written communication skills for short-form and engaging digital content    What’s needed: Basic Qualifications:  - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent work experience.   - 5+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content coordination, or communications  - Managed social calendars and workflows  - Wrote, edited, and published social content  - Experience with TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn  - Managed community engagement and reported metrics     Preferred Qualifications:  - Experience creating social-first content, including short-form video  - Experience with social management tools such as Hootsuite or Sprout  - Experience partnering with influencers, creators, or agencies  - Retail, B2B, or brand marketing experience    We Offer:  Inclusive culture with associate-led Business Resource Groups  Flexible PTO (22 days) and Holiday Schedule (7 observed paid holidays)  Online and Retail Discounts, Company Match 401(k), Physical and Mental Health Wellness programs, and more!  Staples is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, national origin, protected veteran status, disability, or any other basis protected by federal, state, or local law.
