The Program Mission Assurance Manager will support the various functions of the Quality and Mission Assurance organization. Candidates will be required to have high organization and communication skills, investigating and problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail. This position supports the AARGM, AARGM-ER and SiAW programs on-site in Northridge, California.
Enforce Quality Assurance Program Plans for flight and development hardware programs addressing design, manufacturing, integration, inspection, and acceptance test activities in accordance with company and contractual requirements. Work as a member of the Northrop Grumman Defense Systems, Advanced Weapons Business Unit Mission Assurance staff in various groups to address technical issues, meet program requirements and ensure mission success. Interface with customers, Engineering, Operations and Global Supply Chain to identify and resolve mission/flight assurance issues. Provide support to Mission Assurance Management in review of various activities including ensuring AS9100D compliance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active DoD Secret security clearance
• Understanding of missile systems
• Experience with software quality assurance
• Experience with CMMI
• CAM/Earned Value certification.
  Primary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00
  The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
  Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree

• Proficient with AS9100, AS9102 and AS9103 Aerospace standards.
• Experience with proposals and Basis of Estimate (BOE) development
• Experience leading material review boards and corrective action boards
• Experience leading RCCA investigations.
• Good written and verbal interpersonal, communication skills

• Manages the review of requests for proposals and development of estimates for labor and other direct costs (ODC) for the work to be performed by the Quality and Mission Assurance organization. Provides Global Supply Chain quality requirements to be included in supplier requests for proposals.
• Supports proposal commitment reviews meetings, customer requests for information, and negotiations.
• Reviews contracts for Quality Assurance requirements. Develops, implements, and maintains Quality Assurance Program Plans and Program Quality Requirements. Ensures flow down to implementing personnel.
• Provide leadership for program planning and execution, to include the implementation of quality program plans tailored to the appropriate phase of the program, customer requirements and overall trends and/or risk profiles.
• Coordinates the conduct of program corrective action board meetings, material review board meetings, and other program-specific Mission Assurance related meetings, when required.
• Monitors program quality metrics and implements Return to Green (RTG) plans, when required.
• Provides guidance to cost account managers for Mission Assurance tasks on programs, including EVMS reporting and estimate at completion (EAC) updates.
• Responsible for monitoring and reporting status on implementation of Mission Assurance program specific plans, such as Manufacturing Readiness Plans, First Article Plans, Variability Reduction Plans, etc.
• Manages software quality assurance activities across programs in support of all aspects of software development to include software development planning, requirements definition, change requests and management, defect reporting, code review, validation testing, and metrics.
• Collaborate with Software / Firmware Engineering, Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test and Evaluation management throughout the software development life cycle to ensure quality standards are in place.
• Provides leadership for RCCA investigations critical to program execution.
• Interface with all levels of management, employees, internal and external customers, and suppliers.
• This position requires a highly motivated, proactive, and adaptable individual with excellent organizational skills including the ability to juggle multiple tasks, changing needs, and competing priorities.
