This position monitors the program during varying shifts in order to ensure the safety of residents. Monitors the program and its residents while ensuring resident safety during assigned hours. Responds to all immediate social or housekeeping issues as they arise. Provides breathalyzer and toxicology screening as needed. Responds to crises and emergencies. Inputs data into the agency database as requested by supervisor. Attends and participates in all individual program and agency activities as required by supervisor. Attends and participates in all job-related workshops and in-services trainings. Responds in a professional and responsible manner to incidents involving contagious diseases (i.e., HIV, Hepatitis B, TB, etc.). Serves on agency committees as requested. Assists in the implementation of the agency’s policies and procedures. Carries out additional duties essential to the above-stated responsibilities as assigned. Is mindful of and integrates Trauma-Informed Care and its five principles in all duties and interactions with fellow staff, residents, and external partners. Maintains compliance with all required rules and regulations including Federal Confidentiality (42 CFR, Part 2), HIPAA, Medicaid and/or HUD, and any others.
