About the role: The Program Officer/Foundation leads the day-to-day giving activities of the Relentless Care Foundation (RCF) in partnership with the Executive Director/Foundation, providing thought leadership internally and deepening connections to grant partners and community, externally. This position will also participate extensively in other social impact, innovation, community, and fundraising strategies to maximize and extend the impact Community Financial and RCF are able to create together. This position has a starting annual rate of $73,400 but your offer amount may be increased with relevant work experience and transferrable skills. A Day in the life of a Program Officer/Foundation can look like: * Lead day-to-day foundation grantmaking activities and processes. * Act as primary contact for all foundation grant inquiries and pre-award grant partner questions seeking to learn, manage expectations, and identify alignment with foundation priorities where it exists and clearly communicate when there is not. * Participate, consult, and lead the development of social impact focused programs and products developed in partnership between the foundation and credit union. * Participate in Community Financials’ Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) activities when applicable. * Participate in the planning and execution of all fundraising activities and events, championing the foundation internally and externally. * Participate actively in all donor stewardship activities. * Support the development and execution of foundation team events including regional and all-company volunteer events and service days. * Perform other duties as directed by leadership. What you bring to the table: * High school diploma or equivalent. * 5 years of relevant experience in philanthropy, fundraising, nonprofit, community social work, or community organizing. * Experience managing multiple complex projects and competing priorities. * Excellent written and presentation skills. * Ability to work collaboratively with individuals of all backgrounds and identities. * Proficiency using Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You might also have: * College courses in social work, fundraising, philanthropy, nonprofit management, marketing, and/or business. * Demonstrated experience establishing and stewarding relationships. * Extensive experience working with a wide range of community organizations, nonprofits, and human service organizations. * Experience using grantmaking, donor management software, and online meeting platforms, i.e. Zoom.
